Logic app in ISE connecting to SQL in Azure vm

Hi, I created ISE in one vnet, and have vm with sql installed in another vnet. I also have peering between these two vnets. Is it possible to create Logic app in ISE and have it connected to sql server on azure vm? If it is possible, can someone please share link to the document describing cration of sucha logic app, because I cannot seem to find it anywhere? Thanks in advance Aleksandar

@AleksandarKrsti-2078 Yes. This is indeed possible.

You would first add the ISE connector to your ISE after which you can use them in your Logic App. The first time you add the SQL Server Connector, you would just have to provide the required connection details for your ISE to be able to communicate with the SQL Server.

Note that if you need Windows Authentication, the ISE Connector doesn't have support for this requiring you to use the Non-ISE Connector along with the On-Premises Data Gateway.

@PramodValavala-MSFT thanks for the answer

But I must be doing something wrong because although I created Managed Connector in ISE, and created Logic app, I cannot seem to specify my SQL server without choosing Connection gateway (which means I won't be using ISE for access).

On this picture you can see which options I get when I try to add SQL step in the Logic app - For the first option I must set Connection Gateway, and for the second I cannot specify details of the connection

@AleksandarKrsti-2078 Apologies for not getting back sooner. Based on the image for the ISE Connector, the managed connector isn't deployed correctly in the ISE I believe. Could you try removing and re-adding it?

Hi PramodValavala-MSFT,

I deleted the managed connector, and initiated creation of the new one. But the creation of the connector lasted for more than 6 hours and never reported any error, but it also didn't report success
