I am using Office 365 and have a PP with a 5 min audio file embedded. When saving as an MP4 video file the result has many errors, gaps in the audio etc. I have tried this on two machines. As a slide show under PP it runs fine.

    Hi @William Wolfe

How did you save PPT as an MP4 video file? Did you use File>Save as?

Please try to click File>Export>Create a Video to "Turn your presentation into a video", then select the video quality you want.

Tried the Export with better results. The audio is OK. Slide timing is off. When running the preview under the Export option, slide #2 transition time has increased by about 5-7 seconds. Don't think the others are affected, but have not done a detialed check.

Created a new MP4 using Export. Same issues. Slide timings are off and there are blips in the audio stream.

The Export function does not have an option for the file type to be used for the video file.
