Hi,

We upgraded the site server from 2012 R2 to 2019.
We did not do a site reset.
Actually, I have an issue on SMS_Notification Server and the user state migration status is not updating in the admin console. Does it has a link between the state migration status and SMS_Notification_Server?

the error is saying logon failure.

    Hi, @Francois
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
Have we make sure the SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER service is running?
And the documentation suggests to run a site reset if we are upgrading the primary site server.

For the bgb issue, we may try to change two files as the blog suggest, then remove and re-add the MP role to see if it helps.
