Hello,

Are we able with MS Teams (Entreprise 365 F1) to specify / limit the population our users can "chat" with ?
Not just External / Company users, but also inside the company where we need for example the members of a team to only be able to chat with the people of that team, managed by the Teams' administrator ?

Thank you.

    Hi @Omar Kadri

You can try to use information Barrier policy to configure your organization into virtual subgroups. With information barriers, you can define policies that are designed to prevent certain segments of users from communicating with each other. For more details about barrier policies, you can refer to:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/information-barriers-policies?view=o365-worldwide

Then you can try to set up ”Scoped Search” in Microsoft Teams admin center. Select Org-Wide settings > Teams settings and turn on the “Scope directory search using an Exchange address book policy”. For more details about it:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-scoped-directory-search#turn-on-scoped-directory-search
