My "Current Read-Only State" is ON, but the "Read-only" is OFF. Help?

I've tried everything in my power to get rid of the write-protection off of my USB that I just got. I've tried:

Typing "diskpart attributes disk clear readonly" in Diskpart. That didn't work.

Setting WriteProtect 1 to 0 in regedit. That didn't work.

And no, mine don't have a write protection switch on my thumb drive.

thumb drive for what?

is it blank?

type this into Cortana search and select in menu

compmgmt.msc

then select disk management and provide a screen shot using snipping tool in start menu>>all apps>>windows accessories folder

Researched the WinToUSB forums on this issue. 

The thumb drive that was read-only, there are no ways to resolve this issue at all...

So might as well buy another thumb drive.

That was 7 dollars down the drain. RIP.

LOL I kind of figured that, I should have spent 10 minutes there looking instead of 2 hours here. But I hate searching forums.

Seems like the thumb drive is healthy, but I still can't get the write protection removed.

If I can't resolve this problem, I might buy another one. But I will save the thumb drive just incase there is a newer solution.
