Why is MY Hotmail account suddenly calling ME calling me "Friend"?

Why is MY Hotmail account suddenly calling ME calling me "Friend"? I occasionally send myself e–mails & often bcc myself. Suddenly, my Hotmail account has just started calling me "Friend" in auto–fill–addressing or in one field or another in a sent e–mail. This is annoying & inaccurate, & is going to cause me inconveniences in managing my account. Previously, Hotmail used my public name & contact name or my e–mail address. I have never, ever, anywhere in my Hotmail account entered anything that would lead my Hotmail account to started call me "Friend". How can aI change things back to having Hotmail use my name or address instead of this stupid "Friend" label? Thank you for looking at this.
