I am trying to add internet calendar to my outlook(office 365 apps) and I am getting below error. Mot sure why adding calendar needs a PST file to be created.

Steps to Reproduce

Open outlook
Open calendar tab
Right click on My Calendars
Add Calendar --> From Internet
Use this url https://www.calendarl*******************

Outlook cannot add the folder because creating a new Outlook data file(.pst) file not allowed on this computer

I would like to know if there is any Microsoft support article says "adding internet calendar requires PST creation" ? If so I can communicate the same to our tech support team.

    Hi @Chirravuri, Krishna ,
    Have you edited the registry to manage the Outlook client?

    Based on the research of the error message you provided,, please check whether there is a registry entry to block .pst in the following registry path. Althougth there is no specific Microsoft support article pointing out “adding internet calendar requires PST creation”. But according to my test, I published an internet calendar and I can successfully add it to my outlook client. Then I added a registry entry to the registry to prevent user from adding new .pst files. Adding the Internet calendar again will fail. Therefore, whether it is possible to add a .pst file is related to the Internet calendar.
