Hi All. Have a user having an intermittent issue mapping drives. His laptop is joined to Domain1. However he works mostly at a different company who are using Domain2. Often he will need to manually remap his shared drives and sometimes he will get "The account is not authorized to log in from this station." Please let me know what sort of info I can provide. I have checked security logs on all relevant servers and am not finding any failed logins or attempts from his workstation.

    Hello @MULTi Support ,

    Thank you for posting here.

Based on the description above, I understnad the user's laptop is joined to Domain1. However he works mostly at a different company who are using Domain2.

1.Based on "Have a user having an intermittent issue mapping drives.", would you please tell us how you map drive for this user?

Map drive manually on his PC in domain 1? Or map drive manually on his PC in domain 2?

Or map drive via GPO for domain account in Domain 1 (User Configuration\Preferences\Windows Settings\Drive Maps)?
Or map drive via GPO for domain account in Domain 2 (User Configuration\Preferences\Windows Settings\Drive Maps)?

2.Based on "Often he will need to manually remap his shared drives and sometimes he will get "The account is not authorized to log in from this station."", when he encounterred this issue?

    For example:

When he uses domain account in Domain 1 to logons on PC in Domain 2

When he uses domain account in Domain 1 to logons on PC in Domain 1

When he uses domain account in Domain 2 to logons on PC in Domain 1

When he uses domain account in Domain 2 to logons on PC in Domain 2

Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou
