I use Windows server 2019, and I do some tests on the server. I made two accounts. Jan Svensson and Olof Johansson. I made a Home folder in my NTFS on my server. I then shared the home folder with the domain users. So everyone can see the folder. Then I made a Homefolder for Jan and Olof. \servername\Home\%username%

Then I logged in as Jan on my hyper-v and connected the homefolder path.

But now I roleplay as that Jan isnt working at the "company" anymore. And I want to delete Jans homefolder. How do I do that the best way?

I seems that just going to C:\Home\Jan Svensson

and deleting it seems to easy to do.

    Hello @jak jan ,

    Thank you for posting here.

Usually, we can set up Home Folder for domain users on their user Properties as below.

Have you also set up Home Folder for users the same way?

1.If so, we can remove the shared path for this user on his/her user Properties.

2.And /or remove the permissions (NTFS permission and shared permission) of the user you want on the shared folder if the home folder is shared path.

    3.And /or delete the folder C:\Home\Jan Svensson.

Hope the information above is helpful.

Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou
