Good day.

I have issue trying to install Windows-Feature on Windows Server 2016 for my organization.

I'm getting the following error code: 0x80070057

I have tried some basic troubleshooting that I found online with no result.

  • dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth - shows "The Component store is repairable."
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth - shows "The Component store is repairable."
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

  • sfc /scannow - shows no curruptions.

Even tried to restore and install the feature from the image and getting the same error code.

  • dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:IIS_serServer / Source:X:\source
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth /souece:WIM:X:\sources\install.win:2 /Limit Access

Windows version:

Windows Server 2016

Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.2941)

Here are the logs from C:\Windows\logs\CBS that I cannot fully understand.

Now I'm seeking help here and any help or suggestions on how to further troubleshooting is appreciated :)

Have a good day.

Kind regards

Nathaphon
