We are having multiple issues with our current SCCM 1806 Primary Site Server. All roles are on a single server and it is the only one in the hierarchy. We are going to replace it with a new SCEM 2002 Server. Are we best to use the same Site Code, Server Name, IP Address, etc.? Or are we best to go with all new Site Code, etc?

    @MAS2487

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    We are going to replace it with a new SCEM 2002 Server.

    It's recommended that we could use a SCCM 2006, the life cycle of the SCCM 2002 will end at the October 1, 2021.

    If we want consolidation migration environment, please refer to this similar case:

    This is a disconnected site (No internet)
    So I can only begin with the latest version of media available which is v.2002.
    After I build the server, I will then have to use the Service Connection Tool to do the Prepare, Connect and Import Steps.
    Then I can bring the server up to v.2006 or 2010.
    It's unfortunate that MS hasn't released a newer version of SCEM Installation Media.
