Windows 10 rejects iPhone hotspot connection

Question

Dear all,

since yesterday, I'm not able to connect my PC to my iphone hotspot: it sees the phone, but the error "Connection not possible" occurs.

I'm noting I cannot see any mobile device in the list of available devices.

How can I solve the problem?

Did you changed your hotspot password recently? If you did then forget that network on your PC wifi settings

1 Press Windows Key + I shortcut to quickly open the Settings app.

2 When Settings app opens, navigate to Network & Internet section

3 From the menu on the left select Wi-Fi. Now click on Manage known networks.

4 List of memorized Wi-Fi networks will appear. Select your Wi-Fi network and click the Forget button.

5 Then connect to your hotspot network again.

If that doesn't help try uninstalling your wireless software driver windows will re- install this one next reboot.

If the problem is caused by phone, then Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Sorry for the delay of my reply.

I solved the issue following a piece of advice in  https://www.guidingtech.com/windows-10-laptop-wont-connect-iphone-fixes/ : I changed the name of my Iphone and the hotspot device worked.
