Question 1. One of our customers is having have on-prem SFB users having telephony via SBC and planning for direct routing for MS Teams, kindly share some step-by-step documentation. Also, the customer has a Response Group, how do we configure the teams with Direct routing.
To configure Microsoft Phone System and enable users to use Direct Routing, follow these steps:
Step 1. Connect the SBC with Microsoft Phone System and validate the connection
Step 2. Enable users for Direct Routing, voice, and voicemail
Step 3. Configure voice routing
Step 4. Translate numbers to an alternate format

Question 2. Few users are in SFB online and they are part of Call Q and Auto attended, Is there any configuration do we need to do when we turn on "TEAMS MODE ONLY" for the SFB online?
No. Now, Microsoft Teams controls all the configurations of Direct Routing. You just need to configure in Teams.
As a supplement, Skype for Business Online will retire on July 31, 2021. It recommends you plan and implement a successful upgrade from Skype for Business Online to Teams from now on.
