Deployment stucked at "deploy started..."

I am deploying my cube and it got stucked in "Deployed started..."

Its been running for over an hour... why could it be taking so long? is there a way of killing it /checking it status?

    Hi,

    Do you have a very large database ? It could be the processing that takes so much time. Have you had it done afterwards?

    You could omit the processing while deploying.If you just want to deploy but don't want to process at the same time then you can do that also. Open your ssas project in BIDS -> right click on project and select "Properties" -> click on "Deployment" node and select "Do Not Process" under "Processing Option".
