cannot save word files after 1809 update

my computer has just updated to 1809. now it seems i cannot save any files in Word. i am using Word 2013...

Any ideas what i can do?

    I have got the same issue when I use Windows 10 1809.

    Have you set an special one like "English (Netherlands)"?

    Please try to change it to "English (UK)", this could solve the issue.

    It seems it is related to the Windows Regional format setting.

    I found others who have similar issues.

    My only suggestion is to roll back to version 1803. And then block 1809.

    Are you able to open and edit those files, but not save them?

    Where are those files located, are they on your PC or on OneDrive?

    If that are on your PC what is the exact location of those files?

    Have you tried saving to a different folder to see if that succeeds?
