Windows 10 Version 1809 Cumulative Update KB4464330 Removes/Deletes Intel High Definition Audio Device Driver
Last night I installed the Cumulative Update KB4464330 on to my HP laptop which is running Windows 10 Version 1809. The install went fine and the laptop came back up. However, when it came back up it had removed/deleted the Intel High Definition Audio device driver as per the following screenshot;
I have used Device Manager, the HP Support Assistant, Windows Update and the Intel Driver and Support Assistant to try and find a device driver. None of these can find a driver.
I currently have NO sound and the system tray says 'No Audio Output Device Is Installed'.
I have fed this back to Microsoft via the Feedback app and the feedback is here - https://aka.ms/AA2ssk6
What on earth is going on with this version of Windows 10? I have no sound.
Does anyone else have this issue and is there is a resolution?
Many thanks

2018-10-11T09:50:53+00:00 I have just seen that Intel have released a new Graphics driver for Windows 10, which should include a new audio driver. It was released on the 9th of October.
I am downloading that and I will install that later today when on power.

Your audio device from intel, you must find audio device driver from manufacturer site, downlaod their and insinstall

This issue has been caused by the CU which was released by Microsoft on the 9th of October.
I will need to talk to Intel to get advice.
