To remove the Microsoft Account from an account thats signed in under a Microsoft Account, you have to switch to a local account.

Open Start > Settings > Accounts > Your info

Click sign in with a local account instead

    Enter your current password

    Click Next

Enter a name, password, confirm it, enter a hint

    Click Next

    Click Sign out and Finish

    Sign into the account

Okay. So I have done this but I get an error that reads as the following: “We’re sorry, but something went wrong. Your Microsoft account wasn’t changed to a local account. Code: 0x80004005” My account stays as a microsoft account and dosent switch to a local account.

Your account you use now to delete the other account is a local account?

Then that means there is a corruption with this particular account.

    Open Start

    Type: cmd

    Right click CMD

    Click Run as administrator

    At the command prompt, type:

    net user administrator /active:yes

    Hit Enter

Close command prompt, restart, then try signing into the Administrator account.

Create a new account from within the Administrator account:

Copy over your files from the corrupt account to the new account.
