Incoming mail in Outlook 2013 shows senders from automated mailing with additional information since a month or so.
See this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/ask.html

I do not see any option to display the names / addresses without these additional fields.
What could be the cause of this? And the solution?
Via the webmail I see the sender address without the extra fields.

Two examples:
FROM: return-to@<domainname> on behalf of <name newsletter> [newsletter@<domaniname>
FROM: bounce.x.y@mailing.<domainname> on behalf of <name newsletter> [newsletter@<domaniname>

    Hi @Colenbrander ,

Incoming mail in Outlook 2013 shows senders from automated mailing with additional information since a month or so

According to your description, the issue seems to only occur on your automated mails, is it right? If so, did this issue only occur on your Outlook or on all outlook client?
In order to further confirm if the issue is related to your Outlook client, it's suggested to send these messages to other client to check if the issue has any difference.

If the issue would also occur on other Outlook clients, considering it only occurred with those automated mails, it may be more related to the automated mail itself, so how did you send/receive these messages? It's also suggested to change to different ways to send automated messages to check.

If the issue only occurred on your Outlook client, the issue may be related to your client itself, so what's the version of your Outlook (File>Office account>About Outlook), please first check if there are any differences between your client and other client that could work normally(such as client version and others).

Also, considering the issue occurred only recently, have you performed any specific operations before it(such as install any add-ins in Outlook)? In order to avoid the interference of Outlook add-ins, it's suggested to restart your Outlook in safe mode for testing(windows + R> type>"outlook.exe /safe">enter).

If the issue still exists, as I know, corrupted outlook data file and profile may also cause our client couldn't work normally, please try to recreate a new profile and readd your account to check if it could work normally there.(Control panel>Mail>show profiles>Add)

If your issue has any update, please feel free to post back.

    Hi,
Thanks for your answer. You are right about the incoming mail problem: it only occurs with automated mail. I cannot change the source of these and it only happens on this Outlook client with version 2013. Starting Outlook 2013 in safe mode does not prevent it from happening. I will upgrade Outlook shortly and hopr the problem is then solved.
