Hello. I installed Windows 10, then went to the Update Center, clicked "Check for Updates". The Windows found 5 updates, I installed them. I ran the check again, the Update Center wrote "The device is updated". But there should be many more updates to 20H2. How to install updates after installing the Windows 10? The original version of the Windnows 10 - 1511.

    Hello,

If you're currently on Version 20H2, you can check this support article to identify which updates are not installed on your system:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/windows-10-update-history-7dd3071a-3906-fa2c-c342-f7f86728a6e3

You can install missing updates manually, if they're not offer via Windows Update:

Let me know if this helps!

No, my original version is 1511, not 20H2. My Windows 10 starts from version 1511. As a user, I installed the Windows 10 and then I want to install updates. But they are not installed through the Update Center, but are installed somehow covertly, unpredictably.

    Hi,
The additional servicing offer for Windows 10, version 1511 ends on April 10, 2018.
After support ends, you must update to a newer version of Windows 10 to continue receiving Windows updates and security fixes.

The fastest way to get the upgrade is through Media creation tool or ISO file.
Please download Media Creation Tool from the link below and select Upgrade this PC at the first screen:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

This will save your files and apps while bringing you up to the latest version(20H2) by the most stable method. It will also bring all of your Updates current and solve most problems since it reinstalls Windows.

Hope above information can help you.

No, I have a different situation. I installed a Windows 10, version 1511 from scratch and just want to install updates. I don't need to save files or do anything else.

So you would like a fresh install of the latest version, right?

No, I don't want to install the latest version, I want to update from 1511 to 20H2.
