Excel different file size from WebDAV

Hello Community,

I have my document on a Synology Disc Station.

Now I have the Disc Station connected to a nextcloud Server and I to access to WebDav to a Excel File.
Also I can access to the same file by Synology directly.

If I copy the Excel file via WebDav it have only 7KB and Excel said there is a corrupt file.
If I copy the Excel file direct from Disc Station, the size is 9K and the file is opening correct.

Unfortunately I cannot upload the files in this forum, otherwise the files could be analyzied.

What could be the reason for this file size difference?

    Did this problem only appear in a specific Excel Workbook or all Workbooks?
    Because we don't know the working mechanism of this product, we can't determine whether the file will be compressed when uploading, we suggest you to test other similar products.
    Try to test with Word documents and check if you can reproduce this problem.
    If this problem only appear on Synology Disc Station, I suggest you post this issue to third forum: https://community.synology.com/enu

    Hello,

    I have here the original file (8.817 Byte):

    and here the same content, but corrupted file (8.777 Byte):

    Also I have compare the files with the Shell program "fc".
    Here the result:
