Office 365 GCC High Compability with Interop Assembly

Question

Microsoft Word in the Office 365 GCC be automated using Microsoft.Office.Interop assembly. The client application will instance the Word.Application onet time after that any running office application crashes and will not restart. A restart attempt issues a safe mode restart but that too fails. The only way to correct this is to reboot the machine, start the office product in safe mode, close it then restart it in normal mode. Any future attempt to access Word thru the interop assembly has the same outcome - works once then crashes any running office application.
