Office365 can't receive emails

My email has been working since I set up Office 365 several years back (4, maybe). I can send emails no problem, but receive does not work (unless I use Office365 Online). When I use the Microsoft troubleshooter it says: "No MX records were found in DNS for SMTP domain " I look at Office 365 Admin and see a strange MX record:

Type: MX
Host Name: @
Point to address or value: 0 Axx-com.mail.protection.outlook.com
TTL: 1 Hour

Any idea what is going on?

Looks to me like, while Microsoft updated the renewal for the Office365 subscription, it did NOT update the domain registration. First time that happened and no real reason for it. I updated the subscription for the domain name and now I see an MX record, so looks like that will likely solve the issue.

thats the default domain DNS records in 365

Does Axx.com have a mx record? Doesnt appear so. Thats the one that needs it.
