The user has logged out of the WVD session host, but FSLogix still has the vhdx profile attached. How can I detach this vhdx disk from session host? When I use Detach VHD option in Disk Management, disk coming back.
Probably found the solution. Have to set kay CleanupInvalidSessions =1 in HKLM: software/fslogix/app

One more advice on troubleshooting is to check in the details tab for any active processes still running by the user (could be something like explorer.exe) which might indicate a session that isn't cleanly logged off. From there it might give you a path to troubleshoot further.
