SPFx Single Sign On Redirect Page

Question

We have a simple SPFx Application Customizer which renders a global navigation to all sites. We are using pnp to fetch items from a config list. The component is running fine. Each time we open a new browser-session or add a tab to the browser with a url of the tenant, the page is loading twice. We can see that the title "SPFx Single Sign On Redirect Page" is rendered on the tab when the page loads the second time.

What is causing the reload then? This occures on a development tenant, logged-in in private mode.

In your spfx project, could it be that you call the function loaction.reload() to reload the page?

Besides, you could click F12 to open browser developer tools and select network tab, check the requests.
