Unable to save new calendar events.

Until today I was able to make new entries on my calendar but now I get a message" Something went wrong. We couldn't save your calendar event. Waiting a bit might help. Keep your calendar event open to try again later." I have restarted my computer with no result. I have waited a bit, as in several hours, with no luck. When I recorded the event on another computer using Outlook 2019 it saved on that computer but nowhere else. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The identical problem has happened to me. The event will show as entered but disappear within a second and the "Something went wrong . . ." msg pops up. And, when I now try to delete an event, it disappears for a second and reappears with an error msg. The crucial functioning of new outlook's calendar is not working properly. A fix is required ASAP!
