Trouble logging into on-prem Sharepoint from certain computers

Hi,

I work as an IT technician in a Micro Focus environment. One of our users has been invited to a Sharepoint collaboration site and gotten a local AD account. The account is in form of a UPN/E-mail form surname.lastname@keyman .se. When the user and I try to logg on to this Sharepoint account, we are presented with a basic logon window and the browser only flashes on enter and a new attempt can be done. There are no errors, no fail code. This happens in IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox. In the event logs on the computer there are a couple of rows with information. The OS on the client is a basic Windows 10, all patched to the lastest and with or without an AV. The only GPO that is set for the clients when used, is to whitelist some trusted sites.

When failing to log on, these are a few lines in the Event Logs.

System log:
Source OED, ID 19
Check the remaining resource budget. Module exceeds resource budget, failed to AllocateFwCps, STATUS = Det finns inte tillräckligt med systemresurser för att slutföra API:n.. (There is insufficient system resources to process API.

Security log:
A login attempt with explicit credentials was made.
It lists my local hostname and account, and that of the UPN account used in the remote Sharepoint site.

We have tried to clean the computer of all GPO, security settings etc but can’t log on. When I try to use the same ID and PW from a computer at home, that has no tie to an organisation it works. It works in every browser, it works on and Android device and a iPhone.

But as soon as I try to log on through a computer that have been attached to our Micro Focus environment, it fails. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

    Hi anonymous user,

Do you join the computer to domain?

Turn off the Windows firewall on this computer to compare the results.

Switch to another account to log in to the computer, and then visit the SharePoint site to see if you can successfully access it.

FW off on all domain settings in Windows. FW all off in AV/Bitdefender
TLS 1.2 and 1.3 activated both for IE, Edge and Chrome. Test on this site confirm this for Edge and Chrome, IE do not use 1.3.

A logon to the Sharepoint site does just repeat a logon request. Is there a logg that can show more whats happening that I could activate/look at? Not that expeienced at troubleshooting logon failures through web browsers...
