List Field Document Set Show/Hide Conditional

I have been following this guide in an attempt to have my library columns show/hide. I am using a document set structure with documents within each set.

What I am finding is that any conditions that are set do not carry into the document set and any formatting is lost on a refresh, regardless of the document set. Does this feature work on documents within a document set or only at the root level?

Hi @cdn4lf , thank you for posting in the Q&A forum.

Per my test, most supported columns do hide for Document Set content type, such as Single Text fields or Date fields. But the formula does not save on some other types of columns like “Description” fields.

However, it works on all documents within a document set, as long as the column type is supported in conditional show or hide, no matter where the documents are located.

It seems that there have been other restrictions on Document Set content type that are not covered in this document. You may switch to other types of columns and see if you can save the formulas.
