2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,
randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) ,
screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode
and then i have to turn it on again
this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build
what do i do ?

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies
Basically,
Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery
Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in
I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

I am using a PC that runs from the mains supply. Not using a lap top that is running on batteries.
My hp laptop blacked out on me when I was trying to access an website from my email. The word "locking" appeared on my screen and the laptop shut off. Now I can turn it back on. Can you help me with this issue?

Thank you James, I fixed the problem ages ago, it needed a new button battery for its internal memory . I am sorry if it has inconvenienced you but I can’t seem to get the forum page to recognise that the problem has been resolved, so I regularly get replies to my original post.
But I do appreciate it when forum members sent a reply to me. Hopefully one day I will find out how to get it posted as resolved. This is the problem with being an OAPs with very little technological knowledge. 👍😀
