Azure Synapse Analytics Spark Pool throws error while running notebook cell "Kernel could not be launched. Please re-run cells to retry."
Also displaying message "[launch_kernel_error] Error when launching kernel due to ajax error 401 "
Also tried creating another Synapse Workspace in another region, but facing same issue with spark pools.
Please help how to resolve this issue.

Thank You for all help, I am able to start spark cluster and run notebook now. It was due to vpn I was getting this error message. When I disconnected vpn, I was able to work with spark pool.

I also encounter this same error working with our Synapse workspace Spark Pool. The workaround is to disconnect from our Cisco VPN. Our synapse is on the Central US.
Is there any way we can work on Synapse Spark Pool with our VPN connected?

Sorry for your trouble. In which region you are synapse is ?
Can you please got to "Activities" under Monitor tab then select the spark session and the notebook -
Select Logs tab and check if you are getting any errors -
You can also download the logs to check that in your local computer.
