Microsoft Mahjong not saving progress

Question

I've been playing free on line Microsoft Mahjong for a couple of years now and love it.  As of Nov. 1 the game no longer saves my progress.  I've tried it through Edge, Chrome, and Firefox and the result is the same.  Help!

(I've also been having recurring multiple problems with the Ultimate Word Games but those are issues for another time.)

Thanks for the response.

I have stopped accessing the game from the MSN Outlook, Office, Skype, etc. home page side bar menu. That access is, evidently, a different  portal.  Instead, I opened it directly from my pc's start menu which is where I had to create the user account that connects me to the Community.  Since doing that I've not had any problems.

Just a note - It would be really fun if statistics could the show the high score for each game instead of just for the grouping the difficulty level.  Just a thought.

It is very unusual that the progress doesn’t get saved in Microsoft Mahjong. I understand how difficult it could be when the game doesn’t work as it is supposed to.
