WinPE Driver updte for Panasonic

A long while back I used to get an error booting a device up to MDT, a connection to the deployment server...….

This almost always referred to the need for an updated WinPE driver. I have a folder of WinPE drivers in Out-Of-Box drivers but I haven't updated it...it's always worked.
Now I have a new model which is throwing the same error.

One question is, in the Properties of my DS, under WinPE (Platform), how does MDT know to look in the WinPE folder I made? Also, I have a few of them, for Dell and Panasonic.

Should I combine them into one? And I can't find any new release of Panasonic WinPE driver sets, so would it be feasible to just take the Network folder for that model and inject the drivers from it into that WinPE folder? Would it treat the Network driver (the actual one) as a WinPE to get the pc to MDT?
The unit can read the bootstrap file, but does not get to the Custom.INI or the image menu.
I've never had to use an IP as the path to MDT, always \mdtserver\deploy
So I don't have a working solution to boot this model to MDT yet.

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Would you please share the error screenshot to narrow down the issue. Based on my experience, we could try to add relevant WinPE network driver in the boot image.

    Thanks for your time.

I have no explanation, but every time I booted up a new CF20 it would start to make it to MDT and then fail, stating a connection could not be made.
I changed the bootstrap from the server name to the IP, replaced the boot wim, then it booted through.
Then once I reactivated the previous boot wim again, the CF20 started going all the way through to the image menu.
Strange but I'm glad it's working.
