To remove the StartupCheckLibrary.dll error, first download Autoruns:

https://live.sysinternals.com/Autoruns.exe

  • Run Autoruns.exe as administrator.
  • In the Filterbox up top Enter: startupcheck
  • You should see a Task Scheduler entry:\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\StartupCheckLibrary
  • Right click on this entry and Delete.

...and that's the end of the error.

BTW Ignore any advice that recommends restoring this dll from quarantine. It's a CoinMiner and you really don't want it!

Hello TAHSINULMOHSIN, I am Andrew an independent advisor and wish to help. To fix your issue we have 2 options. We can roll back the update to 1909 and try it again VIA the Windows Media Creation tool, or scan the computer to fix errors.
To uninstall the update press the Winkey + I on your keyboard to open the Settings.
Find Update & Security and select Windows Update.
Then click VIEW YOUR UPDATE HISTORY
Choose UNINSTALL UPDATES and find the 1909 update
Click it and choose UNINSTALL on the top bar.
Next step is to download the Media Creation Tool via https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-downlo...
Run the program and select UPDATE

To scan the computer please follow these steps:
In the search bar, type cmd.
Right-click on cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator.
Type SFC /scannow and press the Enter key.
Re-enter Command Prompt as Administrator and run these:
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

Let us know the path you follow and the results,
    Andrew

    Hi all,

    I add the same problem.

I followed the instructions but problem persist.

    I found solution here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hknwWRXF48

It consist on install Microsoft Autoruns from here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

Then you will have a view of all that is started with Windows.

Delete the line related to StartupCheckLibrary.dll ( "not found line" ) ... and then reboot ... problem is solved ( at least for me it is ).

I hope that it will be usefull for you.

    Best regards,

    Do this

    1. Go to start
    2. Search "task scheduler"
    3. In the tree directory go to Task Scheduler Library>Microsoft>Windows>Application Experience
    4. In the main window, find StartupCheckLibrary
    5. Go to properties
    6. Go to Action Tab
    7. Edit "Start a program"
    8. Remove argument "StartupCheckLibrary.dll"

    And you are free.
