after update cannot access partition encrypted by bitlocker windows10pro

Question

following update KB5000802 windows starts and cannot access D partition "location is not available" "access is denied". after opening the D partition with file-explorer and entering the key for bitlocker, then access is granted to partition D. Rolling back the update using a restore-point, did not help. Windows will restart and cannot access the user account (i.e. D:\users\owner\desktop is not accessible) until entering the key for bitlocker thru file-explorer. help appreciated. tnx

Uninstall KB5000802 from Control Panel.
Then decrypt your D partition with recovery key.
Restart computer and manually the latest March 18, 2021—KB5001649. Re-encrypt your D partition.
After encryption complete, restart and check access permission.

kb5000802 appears in the update history but NOT in the list shown under "uninstall a program", so i guess kb5000802 was removed when i rolled back using the restore point. wonder why rolling back to pre-kb5000802 did not fix the bitlocker issue?
KB5001649 was not installed/suggested by windows to my computer (no printing issue)
how/should i install it ? 10x
