I've given up on using File Explorer (Search) now and use the brilliant app 'Everything'. In addition to being 'blitzschnell' it also highlights 'dupes' more easily, especially if you have a a large mp3 collection.

What happened to explorer search? Unable to paste the copied
file name to search for as it was in previous versions. I have to
manually type the file name and press Enter. This is terrible! Why does Microsoft only make things worse with each new version ?!

- On the QC front, with all their beta testing, something this simple should not make it into the wild.
- On the design front, don't release a new feature like this without a function SOMEWHERE to disable it. I don't care if I need to edit the registry, but this is core to the way I use Windows and you can't just change a customer's workflow without giving them an alternative.

I have the exact same problem: When I right-click on the explorer search box I get nothing, No paste no copy. All I get when I click is the history of my past search words that I cannot even delete!
Right-click paste in explorer search box is an essential feature and it would be really silly to take it away.
Also, when using Control-V to paste, File Explorer search box stops working after a few searches (you can't even access it to type).
