i got this recently "logonui.exe the system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer" may you explain why that error happened?

    Hi Faiziq,

    Let's try a few things to see if there is an issue with your operating system.

    First go to Start > type in CMD and right-click command prompt and choose run as administrator.

    Type in: sfc /scannow

    After that is done, also enter the following:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    If the above comes up clean, let's maybe do a check with Malwarebytes...go to Malwarebytes.com and download / install Malwarebytes and do a scan.

    After all this do a restart and let me know.

    It can appear for a number of reasons, the troubleshooting steps hopefully can fix that...

    1 reason may be some malware that is overloading the system with login requests to try to get access to the administrator account and make changes

    Another reason may be faulty system files that are damaged and need to be fixed.
