Hi there. I have a brand new install of Server 2019 Standard. Following installation, I went to Windows Update to install the various updates. Several installed OK but one repeatedly fails to: KB5001638. That's the "2021-03 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 (1809) for x64-based Systems". Windows Update shows that it failed to install with error 0x800f0922. So then I manually downloaded the update from the MS Update Catalog. For that update, the event log shows error 0x80092004. This update is related to the various printing issues going on recently, and I know some of those have been pulled and reintroduced. But it still keeps trying to install it, so I'm not sure what the fix is here.... Just wait until the April cumulative update is released? Searching on those two error codes doesn't return anything specific to my scenario. Thanks for any suggestions! Sir_Timbit

    Hi,
    According to the description from Microsoft website, KB5001638 is the latest security update.
    This Updates an issue that fails to print the graphical content in a document after installing the March 9, 2021 update.

    Have you tried to install the latest SSU KB5000859?
    Microsoft strongly recommends you install the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system before installing the latest cumulative update (LCU).
    Some known issues with the March security update has been submitted, I suggest you could wait until the next update is released before installing.
    If you want to install, make sure the latest SSU KB5000859 has been installed.
    Next action you could reset Windows Update components to check.

    HI CarlFan, I checked. KB5000859 was already installed. I tried the steps to reset Windows Update components, but also no joy. Guess I'll hold off to see if the next cumulative update takes care of this for now.

    @Sir Timbit Hi,
    Thank you for your update.
    Try to download KB5000854 to install if it works.
    Also error 0x800f0922 may occurs when you have less than 500 MB in system reserved partition. there is not enough free space for the system reserved partition.
    Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
    Carl
