Tried posting this in the Microsoft Azure SQL Server Bugs feedback forum, but the "Post" button did not work in Edge or Chrome, so posting here... We are running Microsoft Analysis Server 15.0.34.19 on Windows Server 2019 Datacenter Edition. During the execution of a cube backup, the following error is encountered: The following system error occurred from a call to GetOverlappedResult for Physical file: '<filename>' Logical file: '' : An unexpected network error occurred. . The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed. A few minutes later, SSAS logs the following error to the application log and crashes: The description for Event ID 22 from source MSSQLServerOLAPService cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: An unexpected exception occurred. The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table Would like the SSAS service to stay up when this error is encountered.

    Hi,

Is there any changes made in your environment recently that before the error and may cause this error with you observation ?

Or have you did upgrade operation to the server, either SSAS or Win OS?

If you suspect this is a Server internal issue , You could try openning a support ticket with Microsoft at :https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/assistedsupportproducts

    Regards,
