Windows Terminal Git Colors

Ever since I downloaded the Windows Terminal app, I do not see colored words on the command prompt after typing "git status". I have checked that color is enabled in all my git config files but the error persists. What settings should I add to the Windows Terminal app so that "git status" will color appropriate words on the command prompt?
