Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you are unable to find USB Selective Suspend Settings on your PC. Let’s try a couple of troubleshooting steps and see if we can fix the issue.
Method 1:
Try running the command to enable USB Selective Suspend Settings.
- Now press Windows + S key together to open Search.
- Now type CMD and select Run as administrator.
- Accept the UAC prompts.
- Type in the following command and hit Enter:
powercfg -attributes 2a737441-1930-4402-8d77-b2bebba308a3 48e6b7a6-50f5-4782-a5d4-53bb8f07e226 -ATTRIB_HIDE 5. Restart the PC.
Method 2:
Try changing the registry settings and see if that helps.
**Note:**Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
Refer the article How to back up and restore the registry in Windows
- Press Windows key + R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for ‘Run’.
- In Run dialog box, type ‘regedit’ and hit Enter.
- On the left hand pane navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\2a737441-1930-4402-8d77-b2bebba308a3\48e6b7a6-50f5-4782-a5d4-53bb8f07e226
- Now on the right hand pane right click on empty space and click on New and select DWORD (32-bit) Value
- Rename the DWORD file as Attributes
- Double-click on the file and change the Value Data to 2
- Restart the PC
- Click on OK
- Restart the PC.
Let us know how it goes.
