Can not schedule AZ-900 exam with Pearson Vue / can’t access your Microsoft profile to schedule your exam

Hi, While try to register for an exam I got this:

We can’t access your Microsoft profile to schedule your exam. To resolve the issue, try these steps in this order and return to the exam page to schedule the exam: Use Internet Explorer (version 9 or above) or Edge Clear all cache and cookies Use the InPrivate option in Internet Explorer or Edge If the issue persists, you can contact Pearson VUE Support to schedule the exam. If you still need help, please click Ask a question on the Microsoft Certification Program support forum.

Tried all the steps, does not help. I would appriciate some help with scheduling the online exam/creating certification profile.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem and it was caused by umlauts like ä, ü, ö or the letter ß.
    Maybe you have a special character in your profile that is not A-Z, a-z, 0-9.
