Hi
I have a problem with the Copy activity in Azure Data Factory. We have:

  • ADF is in West Europe region
  • copy activity that copies data from DB2 to Azure SQL (using simple SQL select)
  • it is running on self-hosted integration runtime
  • sample run ID is e1996019-3fea-4e69-9834-a30822eb8d2a

This week, when I start the pipeline the processing stops at the copy activity. Here It stays "forever" (I always cancel the pipeline after several hours) in the "Queued" status without any error message. When I try to "Preview data" via ADF interface, I can read the data. This problem has not been reported sometimes before this week.

How can I fix / debug this problem?

    Hi @Miloš Gregor ,

Welcome to Microosft Q&A forum and thanks for reaching out.

Since you mentioned that the issue started happening recently, I strongly suspect that it could be related to recent issue with SHIR as discussed in below two threads :

    1. Azure Data Factory Pipeline Activities Stuck In Queued status
    2. Data Factory activities stuck in Queued

Could you please try updating your SHIR to latest version and see if the helps to resolve your issue. Here is the for downloading later IR version: Integration runtime download

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you
