https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/concepts/browsers-used-by-office-web-add-ins

The above URL specifies quite clearly which Microsoft browser is used for office add-ins for various operating systems. However, Windows server is not mentioned anywhere in the list.

My question is this: Which browser is used for the different Windows Server versions (2012, 2016, 2019), and under which circumstances? Our plug-in has code that will not run in IE11, and we are updating our system requirements for our users with supported operating system versions.

Thank you for your help!

David

Windows Server versions (2012, 2016, 2019) by default would have Internet Explorer but installing Edge browser is a possibility.
