Azure synapse Spark pool manual start

Question

I found there is no way to manual start the spark pool inside synapse studio, unless I start a spark notebook and run ..

are there any way I can start first ?

Yes, you are correct there is no way to manually start the Apache Spark pool inside Synapse studio or using Azure Portal.

You can see the Apache Spark pool instance status below the cell you are running and also on the status panel at the bottom of the notebook.

Apache Spark pool instance is automatically started when the run the notebook cells.
