After import of an unsealed MP do we need to configure anything else other than the run as profile? do monitors or rules need to be created after import?

when an unsealed MP is imported whether it is a XML, *.MP, or *.MPB will we need to conifigure anything other than the run as profile. Do all MPs have a run as profile? After import do we need to create any monitors or rules for custom MP which are imported? What are the configurations needed after import for a Microsoft MP versus a custom MP?

    Usually, most of the custom MP does not need to configure anything except the default action account has no privilege. In this case, we should configure runas profile to assign account which has required permission.

    Yes. By default, the management pack will run under default action account if no action account is assigned to runas profile.

    No
