Suddenly Dimensions and Measures processing taking more time in MOLAP cube

Hello Team,

Someone help me to understand my issue with SSAS cube.

I have MOLAP cube hosted in my cube server and regular bases it connects to database server and process the dimensions & measures, everything working smooth till 3 weeks back. Now the process time of dimension and measures taking long time. Not sure why. Interesting part is other cubes hosted same why are working in same server (out of 4 OLAP cubes only one is taking long time). For testing purpose I have deployed issue cube into different server and there it's working well. Now I am stuck what could be issue. Below steps I have performed in cube server, but no luck.

  1. Drop the entire cube redeployed in full mode.
  2. Other 3 cubes are not refreshing same time.
  3. Memory limits are adjusted in server (i don't think this really helps, coz other 3 cubes are working fine with out any issues).
  4. No recent changes in issue cube.
  5. I am using sql server 2012 version and 2012R2 windows server, config of the server is 120 GB RAM + 24 CPU's.

    Hi,

    If per discription no changes have been commited to the server, and suddenly the performance is significantly getting bad.

    One potential cause is the network between this server and data was changed last three weeks causing lanterncy.

    I would suggest you to open ticket with Microsoft Support , who have could investigate you system and server enviroment with remote help and other tools, they could help this more acurately. Support ticket with Microsoft https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/assistedsupportproducts
