Can't Install Microsoft 365 Apps for Students

I am having trouble installing Office 365 for Students on my Windows 8.1. The normal Installer stays stuck in a loop forever, no error code, no nothing, just saying it's ready soon. I have Admin rights, 64bit architecture, I have HDD Space, I have stable Internet, I cleaned old Office versions and remnants of old installation tries. I tried everything I could think of and googled a lot!

Then I tried following this tutorial for an offline Installation, since I figured that might work: https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/office/verwenden-des-office-offlineinstallationsprogramms-f0a85fe7-118f-41cb-a791-d59cef96ad1c?ns=iwappc&version=16&ui=de-de&rs=de-de&ad=de going with ProPlus64 or BusRet64 doesn't matter, either give me the error code "30015-2034"
I googled it and there are no solutions.

This was the latest .xml I used for OfficeDeploymentTool:

<Configuration> <Add OfficeClientEdition="64"> <Product ID="O365ProPlusRetail"> <Language ID="de-de" /> </Product> </Add> </Configuration>

Thanks for your help.

    Hi @bmon ,

According to your description, I successfully installed Office 365 on my windows 10 with your .xml file.

Could you provide a screenshot of detailed error message or describe it in detail?

<<How did you install it with the “normal Installer”?

Please go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features to check whether Microsoft 365 has been installed.
If yes, restart your PC and try to repair Office to check this issue.
If no, please uninstall all versions of Office by using the uninstall support tool in "Uninstall Office from a PC".

Then please try to download and run Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to help install Microsoft 365.

You could also refer to the article “Office 365 Click-to-Install fails” to update Win 8.1 to have a check.

Besides, please turn off the third-party software in your PC (if there is) temporarily to check the issue.

Hope the information is helpful to you. Any questions and updates, please let me know.
