Azure as AV Kiosk Image Deployment Service

We are a small company in the audio-video business exploring better custom solutions for our AV controllers and the big option we are leaning towards right now are Windows-based tablets (Surface Go) locked down to a multi-app Kiosk mode affixed to some of our custom software. It has been quite awhile since I was in image deployment (cloud-based options were basically non-existent!) and I've been looking towards Azure as our deployment manager. Essentially, we need an option that is cheap (pretty small scale, we're going to do about 6 of these a year), does not require a domain (as these will be deployed on-site independent of our own network), and offers an easy image deployment that can include silent installs of our custom software and Kiosk Mode deployment. It seems like Azure offers these options, but I'd like to run it by the community to see if Microsoft provides alternate options that may be better suited to our needs.

    Hello @Avenue (Jeremy) ,

Azure does have several offerings to help with image deployment, but almost all of them are specialized to a specific scenario, and none of them really fit what you are trying to do.

your best bet to host your images inside Azure for remote deployment will be to host the image in an Azure Storage Account or on a Virtual Machine hosted in Azure, and you will need to manage the secure retrieval to your devices.

As they will be open to the internet when hosted in Azure, it might be better to have your images hosted on-site or on-premise.
