Hi,

We currently use Delmia Works IQMS Manufacturing Software. In the last 3 weeks or so, when our manufacturing software tries to send emails (reports) inside of IQMS, we got the DXperience pop up box. It states that it's a Trial Version, and has the information how to purchase the software. We don't even have Devexpress software installed on our system or any computer. We checked with our manufacturing software company, and they don't even know or recognize the software.

In IQMS software, we can use Outlook or IQMS SMTP to send emails. We found out that if we Outlook, the DXperience box pops up, but it didn't do this before. We have to close the pop window before mail can be sent; sometime the software froze or hung up and email won't send. If we use IQMS SMTP, we won't see this pop up.

Most of our reports that auto generated will use Outlook to send emails, and users don't have control over how the emails are sent. Because of this pop up, the reports got hung up and didn't got sent.

Any comment or advice will greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tee

    Hi @Tee356 ,

Welcome! As I know, DXperience is not Microsoft product and we do know little about that.

Does this pop-up issue only happen to specific Outlook client on specific devices? Or will happen to all the users on different devices?

If this only happen to specific devices, as @Geoff Whalley mentioned above, it is suggested to check if users has installed some third-party add-ins or third-party programs on these devices. Please try checking the Task Manager and Programs and Features in your windows, compare with other devices which can work fine and see if there is any difference. Starting your Windows in safe mode and running Outlook client alone can also help test about it. By the way, in order to make sure that your Outlook client is fine, completely repairing your Office, creating and using a new Outlook profile is also a necessary procedure.

If this issue happen to all the users on different devices, sounds like it is more like global settings within your organization, please try to contact your administrator and check if they have updated specific configurations or programs recently.

Have you tried running in Safe mode? Type Outlook.exe /safe, and click OK. Maybe an add-in is causing the issue.

    JeffYang-MSFT and emsgeoff

I have suspected that our manufacturing software was built with the help of other company (DevExpress) development components, but when I contacted our software manufacturer tech support several weeks ago, they have no knowledge of this software. Finally, our software manufacturer just emailed us last night and stated there was a bug in their new release and it should be fixed on their next release of Known Issue.

I think we are good now. Thanks for all your help and advices.

    Tee
