Where are my RDP Files for other sessions?

I have a Windows Server 2012 R2. I have a user on the server which is configured to have multiple RDP sessions. When I connect to this user how can I access files that were saved to My Documents by another session of the same user?

You could have the other user copy or move them to **C:\Users\Public\Documents** for all users.

The issue I'm having is that I'm not getting connected to the session that has the files.

So I have user abc and 2 of us could RDP to this server using the same abc user. Each one of us would get our own session each time we logged in even though we were logging into the same user. We each also had some files saved in the My Documents of our session. Something seems to have changed and now every time one of us logs in we are only getting one session. If the other person logs in the first person who was logged in gets kicked out and the new log in captures the session. All the files in the My Documents folder that we get logged into are there but I need some files from the other session that I used to get into. How can I get them back?

If the other person logs in the first person who was logged in gets kicked out and the new log in captures the session.

That's normal expected behavior if using the same logon credentials. It may be one was logging on local and other to domain. The simplest solution is for each user to use a separate account to logon.

how can I access files that were saved to My Documents by another session of the same user?

For this one I'd check for the different profiles under C:\Users folder
