Problem with MIM Generic SQL

I have configured the agent for oracle and it seems to work when choosing table in the export profile. If I choose sql query the agent reports error when running that the query is null or empty. I am running mim2016sp2 and behavior is the same in the latest two releases februari and mars 2021. This is a new project so using query has never worked, but the query supplied is correct an certanly not empty. Same setup but table in export profile do work so I think there is a bug in the agent.
